Cosmo Tech has arrived in Lisbon, Portugal for one of the world’s largest and most important technology conferences, Web Summit.
As the Web Summit got underway the Lyon-based startup was lauded as one of the most popular startups among investors attending the events. Organisers named Cosmo Tech in the Top 10 of nearly 3000 startups at the event in terms of investor interest and the Cosmo Tech team has been busy taking meetings with investors since the event opened on Tuesday morning.
Seeing Cosmo Tech regarded so highly in the eye of investors was satisfying for Cosmo Tech CEO Hugues de Bantel who is on the ground in Portugal with a full slate of investor meetings to take over the three days of the Summit.
“Truly disruptive approaches to important problems are consistently attractive to investors,” he said. “An Augmented Intelligence approach to complexity is, by definition, disruptive, and investors are keen to discover the enormous value that can be generated when you take advantage of complexity.”
Also in Lisbon are Cosmo Tech CFO Laurent Hours and Director of Marketing Dylan Kissane. Like de Bantel, both are taking meetings with potential investors, partners, and collaborators keen to learn more about Cosmo Tech’s Augmented Intelligence.
“This is the most significant annual technology event on the calendar in Europe,” explains Kissane. “Both the quality and quantity of startups here in Lisbon is incredible. The interest demonstrated in our Augmented Intelligence solutions is strong and other disruptive technologies are attracting similar attention from attendees.”
Web Summit continues tomorrow and Cosmo Tech will be presenting in the exclusive START program for Growth startups on stand S 115. The entire Cosmo Tech team will be on hand to answer questions, demonstrate Augmented Intelligence use cases, and meet with more of the investors that have demonstrated such enthusiasm for the startup so far.
