The Cosmo Tech team has concluded a successful week at E-world Essen, one of the largest and most significant annual events for the utility sector in Europe each year.

“It’s been a great week for Cosmo Tech in Germany,” said Business Developer Antoine Rage. “Not only have we had a chance to talk about our unique, industry-validated solutions for electrical, gas, and water utilities, but we’ve been able to offer hands-on demonstrations of how our software works to the very people who would use it to help them make optimal decisions.”

Rage was joined in Essen by other members of the Cosmo Tech sales and marketing teams, as well as Cosmo Tech co-founder and Executive Chairman, Michel Morvan. Morvan was an invited guest in Essen and joined other thought leaders to discuss smart grids, smart cities, and the future of energy. A leading expert on Augmented Intelligence, Morvan was able to explain the links between the decisions that grid managers make today and the smarter city futures that they envisage for the future.

“Augmented Intelligence creates an opportunity to meet the challenges of today while never losing sight of the impacts of our decision on tomorrow,” explains Morvan. “It allows us to reduce the risk to the long-term by anticipating those risks in the short and medium-term. It is the key to optimizing the impacts of our decisions on the environment, on our cities, on our industries, and on ourselves; it is the key to taking advantage of complexity.”

Essen Appearance Supported by Business France

Cosmo Tech’s participation in the E-world Essen event was partly sponsored by Business France, the national agency charged with supporting the international development of the French economy. The goal is to raise this figure to 6 billion euros by 2020 and allow the creation of 25,000 direct jobs.”
