Cosmo Tech’s VP Partnership and Alliances Philippe Richard will be attending Global Industrie on 6 March.

Global Industrie is an event focused on the industry of the future. Held in Lyon at EurExpo, the event is sponsored by Schneider Electric and partners with La Region Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes and the French Fab. The goal of Global Industrie is to learn and explain what is happening as we live through a new industrial revolution, to help understand the changes that are taking place, to demonstrate their benefits, and to show the upheavals that will result. It helps companies innovate in production and to focus on colleagues, current and future, on the attractions and the benefits of Industrie 4.0.

Another goal of Global Industrie is to foster collaboration between the French Tech and the French Fab. Cosmo Tech is a part of the Lyon French Tech, an association dedicated to representing the technological and digital community in Lyon. The French Tech is a government-backed movement bolstering France as one of the best countries in the world to start and scale global tech champions. They organize actions that have local, national, and international impacts. The goal is to amplify the actions of the local actors to booster their development and create a bridge with international actors to make Lyon an international flagship technological hub. The French Tech also has a presence in eight other cities: Aix-Marseille, Bordeaux, Grenoble, Lille, Montpellier, Nantes, Rennes, and Toulouse.

Inspired by the French Tech, the French Fab was created in October 2017 to federate French companies and to promote French industries throughout the world. By accelerating the transformation of the industry in France and uniting French industrialists under the same banner, the French Fab embodies the prosperous future of French industry and the attractiveness of it professions.

Richard will be attending the event in partnership with Nexans, and giving testimony about the mutual benefits for the French Tech and the French Fab’s collaboration. He will also be speaking with students to help promote industries to young people, seeing as industrialists offer 2.8 million jobs in over 213,300 companies throughout France.

The 4-day event includes question and answer panels, debates, keynotes, and master classes.
