Cosmo Tech Executive Chairman and co-founder Michel Morvan, will be presenting at Ecosummit Berlin on 8 May.

Back for its ninth edition, Ecosummit Berlin accelerates smart, green startups, investors, and corporations, focusing on smart, green energy, mobility, and cities. Their conferences are physical marketplaces enabling business development, co-investing, open innovation, and corporate venturing. Since 2010, Ecosummit has organized 18 conferences in various cities throughout Europe with over 3,300 participants and 700 startup pitches. After a successful keynote address at Ecosummit Paris in March, Morvan was invited to return for its German counterpart, of which over 93 speakers and 64 startups have been confirmed. This will be Cosmo Tech’s third presentation at Ecosummit, including a speech given by CEO and co-founder Hugues de Bantel at Ecosummit Paris in 2015.

Morvan will be giving speech similar to the one in Paris on how augmented intelligence can be used to help plan for and create smart, green cities, specifically in the context of transportation infrastructure. Currently, Cosmo Tech provides a platform dedicated to helping decision makers, asset managers and C-suite executives make optimal decisions regarding their transformation to become more sustainable.

“Countries strive to balance economic growth against environmental harm seeking to be at once competitive and cooperative, both self-interested and globally focused. The same transport system that make it easy to cross the world in a day power the spread of pandemic disease and facilitate the rise of international terrorism. Our world is one where a single business decision in Shanghai can set off a sequence of events impacting business in Sydney, Seattle, São Paulo, and Stockholm,” he said.

“Our world and our challenges are interconnected, interdependent, and so often incredibly difficult to define, let alone attempt to solve,” he continued. “This complexity is not the exception but the norm”.

Morvan will only have five minutes to convince listeners to embrace to the complex issues that revolve around creating smart, green transportation in large cities, however, he’s certainly up to the challenge.

Ecosummit Berlin takes place 8-9 May at Radialsystem, Holzmarktstraße 33, Berlin 10243, Germany. Following the event, Morvan’s speech will be available on Ecosummit’s YouTube channel.
