Next week Cosmo Tech will be attending European Utility Week in Vienna, Austria from 6 – 8 November.

European Utility Week (EUW) is the leading event showcasing expert knowledge, innovative solutions, and foresight from hundreds of industry leaders, coherent with European strategy to achieve a smooth transition towards a low carbon energy supply. With the 2018 edition taking place in Vienna, this event has over 12,000 visitors from 100 countries and over 400 speakers. The three-day program explores four key areas in European energy: digitalization, decarbonization, energy markets, and innovation. EUW’s goal is to connect the smart energy community, providing them with a platform for achieving a fully integrated and interconnected electricity system and market in Europe. The event is a business, innovation, networking and information platform and is seen by the industry as their terrain, using their annual meeting place to thrash out strategies and do business to help drive efficiencies in meeting their sustainable development goals.

Cosmo Tech’s Sales and Marketing teams, along with CEO and co-founder Hugues de Bantel and Chief Revenue Officer Thierry de Lumley, will be at EUW to help demonstrate how Cosmo Tech can help decision makers and C-suite executives make optimal decisions using their modeling and simulation platforms. As one of Europe’s biggest events for the electricity sector, Cosmo Tech can showcase the success they’ve had with partner RTE when helping them with their asset management strategies, as well as promote their solutions using augmented intelligence for asset optimization.

EUW provides two separate programs of their event: The Summit Sessions and the Hub Sessions. The Summit Sessions will highlight strategic themes causing shifts in the utility business, featuring three key themes crucial for businesses striving to achieve a fully integrated and interconnected electricity system: The Low Carbon Energy Program, Energy Markets, and Digitalization. The Hub Sessions explore innovations, projects, and technologies helping to transform the utility landscape, including Energy Revolution, Digitalization, Energy Markets, Consumer Centricity and Initiate!. The Initiate! innovator platform invites startups, young energy professionals, and those at the forefront of the smart energy revolution to share latest ideas and inventions. The Hub session is free to attend for pre-registered visitors, while the Summit sessions require a special session pass.

Cosmo Tech will have their own stand for all three days of the exhibition. You can find them at stand B.m20.
